What to take for a dry mouth.
I am recovering from what appears to be a bad stomach flu. All the signs are there. Sure hope that I'm not dehydrated. A dry tongue and a sore mouth has been so unbelievable.I had the dry mouth and excessive thirst long before the dreaded bug. Probably caught the bug in the ER when I went in for surgery regarding a staph infection. Didn't take long for the virus to kick in. Less than a week. I'm not a big blueberry fan however I have been craving some blueberries this morning.[ before I read this article/comments ] I'll have to look up rusk on the computer. I'm not aquainted with it. Any comments would be greatly appreciated on what to do.

chop up some ice cubes and dissolve slivers in mouth. If u can't keep down sips of water, u need to go to the ER at your hospital to get rehydrated with intravenous drip. Wierd, I , too had the stomach flu on April 4. Living on jello, popsicles and chicken broth. still feel listless, could take a nap at a moments notice.popsicles

Re: What to take for a dry mouth.
Thanks so much for sharing your advice with me. I am sucking up the liquids and just can't seem to get enough ice.I have been rehydrating myself morning noon and night. I am still very tired and find myself sleeping alot during the day. Here it is almost Easter and I still feel queasy. I hope that you are feeling better. Please let me know how you are doing.
