All About Flu

I usually just take mucinex and alieve. Drink lots of water and juice and try to eat something. And I just take it easy for a few days til symtoms deminish.

You shouldn't drink a lot of water, it'll only make you feel worse. What you should do is drink a few glassfuls of Guava or Orange Juice, and if you don't have that then try some mint tea. It'll open up your nasal passages and allow for easier breathing, also try to take a few mentholated cough drops, or cough syrup if they make it mentholated. Don't confine yourself to bed either, unless you feel so crappy that you can't stand, but if you are capable of movement then you should get up and walk around the room for about 5-10 minutes (or you can stay in one place and stretch). You'll feel better if you get your blood flowing instead of cutting off circulation by laying down and reading. However after you have finished walking/stretching you should lay down and take about a 1-1 1/2 hour nap. Then wake up and eat something hot, soup preferably, or something else that doesn't really require chewing. Mashed potatoes work as well. Hope this helps, take it easy till the flu passes, ja ne!

There is many People whose Idea's that taking Guava and Other Fruit's Juices in their Un-Natural State Like Canned,Bottled,or Concentrated Form,That They will get Healthy,But When You Buy Some product's that contain's More Sugar's In Them Then You Are doing, Absolutely No-good to Battling what Problem You May or May-Not have,At that Present Time.

I have found the best cure is prevention. I take 2 teaspoons of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar with 2 teaspoons of honey mixed in a glass of water, sipped with my meal. I haven't had a cold or flu or missed a day of work in at least 3 years. I might add I work in a close invironment of 300+ people.
